Local Rule 01 — Spatial Discontinuity

Observation: In movements between the military, the family house, the lake, the dolls’ house, the restaurant, the rooftop, the construction site, the forest and the field, intermediate spaces disappear.

Rule: Separate places can be directly connected without passing through distance.

Local Rule 02 — Temporal Reversibility

Observation: From the state of conscription and military uniform, time returns to before the war without a separate cause.

Rule: Time can return to a previous state.

Local Rule 03 — Independence of Season and Climate

Observation: “Why is it snowing on such a hot day?” Hot weather and snow exist at the same time.

Rule: Temperature and snowfall can coexist in contradictory states.

Local Rule 04 — Non-conservation of Bodily Form

Observation: The girlfriend’s face changes, and beings that were human eventually become a radish and an onion.

Rule: A being can transform into another bodily form while retaining its identity.

Local Rule 05 — Imagined Generation of Bodily Organs

Observation: “I unfold mechanical wings through imagination.” An organ that did not originally exist functions as actual transport immediately after being imagined.

Rule: An imagined bodily organ can arise in the body at once.

Local Rule 06 — Imperfect Flight

Observation: Wings allow flight, but the body cannot rise high. It advances low and gradually sinks toward the ground.

Rule: Flight is possible, but it is not completely free from gravity.

Local Rule 07 — Trans-species Material Transformation

Observation: “We became vegetables and part of the field.” “I hid as a radish.” “You became a flower-shaped onion and worked the field.”

Rule: Living beings can cross the boundary of species and transform into another living being.
